Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How much does Unison cost? Take a look at our Hosted vs. Installed pricing and hosted pricing FAQs.
Where is my course content stored? You use Unison like a workbench. In other words, while you're building courses in Unison, your course content is stored on the Rapid Intake servers in our secure data center (read more about security). When you are ready to deploy your course, you download the entire course and move it wherever you want (usually to a learning management system). See a video about deployment and publishing options.
Can Unison be installed on my server? Yes, you do have the choice, but we recommend that we host it. Learn more...
Can Unison courses work with my SCORM LMS? Unison pubishes to SCORM 1.2 and 1.3 (also know as SCORM 2004). If your LMS is SCORM compliant, courses you create should work with your LMS. Read more about LMS integration.
Can multiple people work in the same course at the same time? Of course! That's what Unison is all about--working in real-time so you can get more done, more effectively. Read more about collaboration in Unison.
Am I limited to using Unison page and interaction templates to create content? While you can create effective elearning content with Unison, you're not limited to that. Using Unison's SWF template, you can pull in any other Flash-based content you choose! This means that you can combine content you create with Unison with content you create in other Flash-based tools, such as Adobe Flash or Swish. Also check out the PowerPro Customization Access for ultimate power and flexibility.
How are Unison and Flashform different? Unison is a web-based solution and Flashform is a desktop solution. They are both built on the Rapid Intake e-learning development platform.
Are Unison and Flashform compatible? Mostly, yes. There are a few newer page interactions that we've built for Unison that aren't released for Flashform yet, but for the most part, when you build a course in Unison, you can download it and edit it in Flashform.
Can I cancel whenever I want? You use Unison month to month with no contract obligation. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. |
